Groundwater Field Sampling and Analysis

Field Chemical Analysis Methods to suit any industry and utilise current best practices as seen in the diagrams below

Water sampling follows a certified management system certified complying with the requirements of AS/NZS 5667.1:1998 (downloadable document)

Downhole INSITU TROLL waterproof submergence profiling of groundwater bodies saves time sampling water from pumping methods OR if required sampling by micropurge

We offer a suite of water field analysis sampling equipment

Micropurge sample pump -76 metre head capacity (Bladder Pump), powered by an air compressor, Draw down meter/dipper measure for water level stability measurements during sampling process and a flow cell to direct flow for analysis/sampling techniques.

Additional sampling equipment is available, as follows,  though the micropurge is highly efficient and provides reliability in sampling techniques

Submersible pumps for mini pumping tests of several hours duration

High-rate pumps (Fig. 2) reduce sampling precision due to high-flow effects on volatiles, turbidity, and mixing.

MicroPurge sampling methods (Fig. 3) deliver precise samples with minimal purging; natural aquifer flow brings representative water to the sampling zone with no mixing or excess turbidity.

Bailers & portable pumps (Fig. 1) mix stagnant water, air, and sediment into samples - even after purging 3 to 5 well volumes.
